Google Maps has rolled out an Android App in 25 big U. S. cities that will tell you how hard it will be to find parking at your destination.
According to Google, “Factoring in time for parking can make or break a night out, let alone making it to that big meeting on time. So in 25 metro areas throughout the U.S., we’ve introduced a new parking difficulty icon in Google Maps for Android that’ll give you a heads up on what kind of parking crunch to prepare for when you’re on the go.”
At the bottom of the directions screen on your device will be an icon that will tell you that the parking is easy, medium or limited (see picture above).
Making it to social or business events on time just got easier as Google is using predictive data to help you decide in advance the best routes to take to your destination plus parking so that you have more time to prepare and fewer surprises when you get there (wherever there is).
