The challenge was how to run a California statewide and local SEO campaign at the same time. As an employment agency we were running into extremely competitive keyword phrases for which the client wanted to rank.

The challenge for Kimco was that they were in the extremely competitive employment / career niche. We needed to get some results quickly to prove the concept and then better results in the long-term, which we accomplished.

As expected, we were able to rank for long-tail keyword phrases fairly quickly (along with bringing in additional traffic). Over time, we were able to rank for more competitive keyword phrase statewide and in the local (city) market space.
