Before the business was sold, this was a long-term customer for over 12 years. So, the challenge at first was optimizing the website for the competitive vacation rental marketplace for the Poconos Mountains of Pennsylvania. At first, we had to deal with a web designer who didn’t understand how SEO worked and so this person kept wrecking our on-page SEO efforts.

The challenge for Poconos Lakeside Home Rentals was first ranking in the extremely competitive real estate market and second, growing the business long-term so that they could add more inventory to their line-up, generating more revenue.

The client started with a dozen rental cabins and over time was able to add 70 more to the lineup. As more inventory was added we were able to expand our keyword list and rank for all types of short and long keyword phrases. The social media part of this business was now thriving with leads and customer interactions leading to mostly 5-star reviews (all on the up-and-up).
